We’re a scrappy little crew perched on the slopes of Haleakalā, where the vegetables are real, the farmers are unpolished, and the official motto is FAFO. Around here, “trial and error” is less of a method and more of a lifestyle. Sometimes we plant things upside down. Sometimes it works.
We’re Emily & Gerri and we’re basically a one-woman farm with a very enthusiastic support crew (husbands, mentors, animals, and anyone we can bribe with tomatoes). Our farm is built on curiosity, improvisation, and optimism — thank goodness for YouTube! We play in the dirt, wing it daily, and let out a few choice words whenever a new pest or plant virus crashes our party — but nothing beats biting into food that tastes this good.
So if you’re looking for perfectly curated Instagram farmers — sorry, wrong farm. But if you want to know where your food comes from, you’re into food grown with equal parts joy, chaos, and love — welcome. Grab a fork, grab a shovel, or just grab a tomato. Let’s FAFO together.
